Drywall repair that disappears into the wall

A doorknob hole, a ceiling stain, a crack creeping out of a door frame. Email us a few photos and you'll have an estimate the same day.

A patch is easy. A patch you can't find afterward is the job. Anyone can screw a square of sheetrock into a hole; the skill is in the finishing, feathering the compound out past the repair, matching the texture, and leaving a surface that paints out clean. That finishing work is what we have done for 31 years.

Most repairs start the same way: something went through the wall, water got in from above, or a joint let go and the tape started to show. Send us photos of the damage through our Easy Estimate System and we'll price the repair the same day. No waiting a week for someone to drive out and look at a hole.

Water damage gets one extra step. Before we close anything up, we check that the drywall around the stain is dry and solid, because patching over a wet ceiling just moves the problem a few months down the road. If the leak itself still needs fixing, we'll tell you before we start.

Feathering joint compound over a wall repair with a taping knife
The skill is in the feathering. Compound gets worked out past the repair until the wall reads flat.
Bedding a corner joint with joint compound and finishing knives
Corners and seams get bedded so the tape stays put.

Same-day estimate

Email a few photos of the damage. You'll have a price back the same day.

Texture matched

The repair gets blended into the texture around it, so the wall reads as one surface.

How it works

  1. 1

    Send photos

Email a few photos of the damaged area. A tape measure or a hand in the shot helps with scale.

  2. 2

    Get your estimate

We price the repair the same day and tell you what the fix involves.

  3. 3

    We do the work

Patch, tape, float, texture. We show up when we said we would and keep the dust contained.

  4. 4

    Paint if you want it

We can match the existing paint and finish the repair completely, or leave it primed for your painter.

About the estimate

Every estimate is priced from your photos before we schedule anything, so you know the cost up front.

Common questions

How small a repair will you take?

Small repairs are the core of this business. A single doorknob hole is a normal job for us, not a favor.

Will I be able to see where the patch was?

Not if we've done our job. The repair gets textured to match the surrounding wall and, if you add paint matching, painted to match too.

What photos should I send?

Two or three: one close up, one from a few feet back so we can see the whole wall, and anything that shows how deep the damage goes. Something for scale helps.
